Why a Retreat?
We seek happiness in life, in our work, in hobbies and sports, and in many other aspects of family life. But we find that these things, good as they are, bring only temporary happiness. Deep lasting happiness comes from discovering God in these things and using them in accordance with His will. We need to take time out, to be quiet, to think and pray about our life and our relationship with God.
Time is precious to all of us, but dedicating a couple of days out of the year to renew your relationship with God and grow in self-knowledge will have far reaching benefits. The times of prayer led by the priest, the talks given by a lay person and the periods of prayerful silence help you to make a good retreat and to improve your personal, family and professional life.

INFORMATION
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Retreats begin Thursday evening at 9:00 p.m. You are welcome to come earlier if you would like. You may leave off your bags at the building any time during the day, and you will have access to your room after 6:00 p.m. Retreats end at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
To change or cancel a retreat registration, contact us at retreats@mhplace.net or call (646) 742-2769.
Changes: For changes, a coupon will be issued for the amount paid that can be used until December 31st of the next calendar year. Please note that "early bird" discounts do not carry over when changes are made after the discount deadline.
Cancellations: Refunds for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the start date of the retreat will be made for the amount paid minus an administrative fee ($25 for full payment and $10 for a deposit payment). The deposit amount is non-refundable for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start of the retreat.
If you need to change or cancel your registration, please do so as soon as possible, so that someone else can take your place.
